Be an Amabassador for Print & Graphics

In 2007, the Virginia Printing Foundation (VPF) launched the Ambassadors for Print program to attract high school students to the printing industry.

The Ambassadors for Print program aims to align education, workforce, industry, and economic growth strategies statewide so that more students are made aware of and participate in the great opportunities afforded by careers in the printing industry. With the help of Governor Timothy Kaine and his appointed task force, PIVA members and Ambassadors for Print are reaching out in powerful ways to enable us to attract the 13,000 new workers we will need in Virginia over the next ten years.

Your support of the James H. Fannon Memorial Golf Tournament will directly benefit the Ambassadors for Print program, and enable it to continue the valuable work it has begun.

----------------------------

Are you buying new equipment? Replacing an older press? Changing your plate, ink, chemical, other consumables (including paper!)? If so, please consider donating these to one of Virginia's fine printing career and technical education programs. You will help train our next generation of workers, and get a tax break from Uncle Sam at the same time! For more information, please call Katie Gekker at 703-216-3714  THANK YOU!
